Our Fees

Mediation Fees.

  • Mediation is generally billed at $275 per hour, divided equally among the parties.
  • There is a three hour minimum fee which is due ten days in advance. The remainder of the fee is due at the close of the mediation.

Arbitration Fees.

  • Arbitration is generally billed at $275 per arbitrator, per hour, divided equally among the parties.
  • There is a three hour minimum fee which is due ten days in advance. The remainder of the fee is due at the close of the arbitration. (Larger arbitrations may require a larger advance payment.)

Mediation/Arbitration Costs.

  • There are normally no other costs involved, but any unusual costs or expenses are passed through on the same pro rata basis.
  • For example, an off-site mediation might include meeting room rentals, travel/parking expenses, or copy/scanning/printing charges.

Church Involvement.

  • One of ControlAltDispute’s primary objectives is to work along side of individual churches to assist them in fulfilling their mandate to resolve intra-church disputes.
  • If a particular referring church is partnering with ControlAltDispute, that church might be paying for some or all of the fees and costs.
  • If you are considering ControlAltDispute for your situation, we urge you to check with your church leadership first. In this respect, always consider Matthew 18:15-20 at the outset.
